Here you will learn the many ways you can navigate around the model.

Orbital Navigation

Orbital navigation is the default navigation mode in Twinview, which once mastered will allow you to zoom and navigate the 3D model like a super hero.

Rotation

To rotate the model, hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse. The default rotation center is the project's center, but double-clicking an object will set that object as the new center.

Zoom

Use your mouse's scroll wheel to zoom in and out. Double-clicking an object sets it as the zoom center, allowing you to zoom directly into that object. Mastering this feature in conjunction with rotation can enhance your model navigation efficiency.

Pan

To pan the view or camera, hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse.

First Person Navigation

Twinview's First Person mode enables you to navigate your project as if you were physically present, using the familiar WSAD controls common in First Person View (FPV) computer games. To activate FPV, select 'First Person' in the view toolbar. It is recommended to start from a suitable FPV starting view before activating this mode. Please refer to the video below for more information.

The mouse goes into view mode and moving the mouse allows you to look around and point in the direction of travel. You can then use the following keys for Navigation.

While in FPV, double clicking on an object/plane/surface teleports you to that location.
